I just started my holiday vacation this week and so far it's been a stressful week for me. The main reason is that I have to catch-up with my Christmas shopping. It also means that I have to brave the jam packed malls and shopping sites this season. Just yesterday I went to Divisoria (Tutuban Mall, 168 Mall, Meisic Mall and Juan Luna Arcade) to see if I can find some unique Christmas gifts. The good thing with the place is that I can haggle if I'm buying in bulk and if you are really patient you will find something to your liking. Even though I already went there at the earliest time possible (by earliest time I mean two hours after I woke up, which is about 12 pm), The place is already full of shoppers (surprise! surprise! meh..). If you're not familiar with divisoria, with its streets and avenue then you have no choice but the go with the flow of the human traffic. Tutuban Mall
But all of my efforts did not go in vain. I managed to get something for my cousins and godchildren (Fluffy wallets... just like last year. hahaha). Desperate times call for desperate measures (hey, it's hard to pick gifts for children). After the adventure in Divisoria, I still went to the SM Mall of Asia to see if I can still find anything... I can't imagine that I went through all of that. Tomorrow will be the last day of my shopping completion for on Monday lots of people will start off their Christmas vacation. I'd rather chill at home than face the wrath of the late Christmas shoppers. :P |
